Thitithanakul
Biography
Krittipong Thitithanakul graduated from the Faculty of Communication Arts, majoring in Film and Still Photography. He is currently working as a cinematographer and collaborated with director Jatupol Kiawsaeng on the short film In Plain Sight. This film won the Grand Prize in the White Elephant best student short film category at the 26th Thai Short Film and Video Festival in 2023 and received a Special Mention for Best Experimental Film at the Global University Film Awards in Hong Kong.
He has also worked as a cinematographer on films that became finalists in Thai Short Film and Video Festivals, such as A Girl Who Walks Alone at Day (finalist, Digital Forum 2023) and In the Same Breath (finalist, Best Student Short Film category, 2024). Additionally, some of the films he worked on have been screened in smaller theaters, including Take After Take (showcased at Wildtype Middleclass 2024 and shortlisted by the Bangkok Critics Assembly in 2023), Colorless (screened at Wildtype 2024), and Juju vs. The Possibilities of Love, Life, and Death, a collaboration with Burmese director, Htet Aung Lwyn, which was screened at the Southeast Asia Queer Cultural Festival.
